TODAY is the deadline to file for a Brookfield Town Office

TODAY at 5:00 PM is the deadline for candidates to file for a Brookfield Town office.
All candidates who file on the last day of the filing period shall do so in person before the Town Clerk. RSA 669:19; 652:20. The Town Clerk’s office will be open today February 2, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. to file. You may also call 301-471-3795 to schedule an appointment to file today prior to the Clerk's office hours.
Declaration forms are available from the Town Clerk or on the Town Clerk’s Election page of the Brookfield website.
Pursuant to RSA 669:19-21; 652:20; 40:13, VII, the dates for candidates to file declarations of candidacy with the Town Clerk are January 24, 2024, to February 2, 2024. The following offices are open for filing:
- One (1) Selectman 3-year term
- One (1) Trustee of the Trust Fund 3-year term
- One (1) Cemetery Trustee 3-year term
- One (1) Planning Board Member 3-year term
- One (1) Planning Board Member 3-year term
- One (1) Supervisor of the Checklist 6-year term
- One (1) Moderator 2-year term
