Transfer Station Permits

The Town of Brookfield uses the Town of Wakefield Transfer Station & Recycling Center located on Rines Road in Wakefield. A Transfer Station Permit is required for a fee of $5.00 for 2 years. You may only purchase the permit at the Town Clerk's office during normal business hours or on the "Registration & Licensing" button of the Brookfield website.

Important: The Wakefield Transfer Station will only sell permits to Wakefield residents - Brookfield residents must purchase the permit from the Brookfield Town Clerk.

Wakefield Transfer Station & Recycling Center Hours of Operation:

Holidays: The Facility shall be closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Columbus Day, Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
