6:30 PM  WORKING SESSION:   Update to Planning Board member manuals, distribution of informational materials and schedule of discussions on affordable housing.

1.  Call to Order

2.  Roll Call:  Members, Alternates.  Appointment of alternates. 

3.  Minutes of Nov. 26, 2007  review and possible approval.

4.  Town Counsel review of proposed language to Accessory Dwelling Units.

5.  PUBLIC HEARING:  Proposed amendments to Zoning Ordinance, for placement on March 2008 ballot.

This is a continued Public Hearing (from Nov. 12, 2007) on Accessory Dwelling Units  (also known as in-law apartments or accessory apartments but with no requirement for family members only) and the Floodplain Development Ordinance, update and compliance with State Regulations.   Amendments at Town Offices for review, and posted at the Town Offices and Stoneham/Garney Road Corner.

 

6.  Old Business:

A.  Drew Farm/Welton Subdivision Route 109, Brookfield:  Update.

B.  Elderly housing in Brookfield, possible future actions, following work session with Wakefield.

C.  Agricultural Activities, discussion of language for inclusion in the Zoning Ordinance.

7.  Public Comments

8. New Business: 

A.  Proposed amendment to policies and procedures to state “ If a Federal holiday falls on the second Monday of the month, the regularly scheduled planning board meeting will be held on the following Wednesday night of the same week.”

B.  Affordable Housing in Brookfield, roundtable discussion.

 

9.  Any other business that may come before the Board.

10.  Adjournment
